Day of GRACE - November '09

RESPONSE TO GRACE DAY

What an amazing and generous response there was to the Day of Grace! It seems clear that the Lord is doing such good work in the lives of many individuals as well as in the family of the church, that perhaps we should not be so amazed! So, many thanks for the wonderful commitments expressed, both financially AND spiritually – in terms of people offering to serve, to work for the Lord, to PRAY for people regularly and faithfully, to take God a great deal more seriously, and to SHOW it by a deliberate re-ordering of priorities. Financially, when all the pledges are honoured, for REACH and the General Fund together, St.Mark’s Church has received just over 40,000 euros (maybe as much as 43,000). Praise God! On top of this several people joined the planned giving scheme, promising a further extra 8,000 euros per year. God is GOOD – all the time!
